How does the S&P downgrade impact your investment approach?

I don’t see S&P’s action as having any real long-term impact on the securities markets, and it is not likely to affect our investing approach in any way. However, that is not to say that we won’t continue to consider the underlying problems in Washington when we analyze particular stocks or industries.

Now, there is talk of further downgrades in the very near future. What will the fallout be from that?...and what about the public outcry from movements like Occupy Wall Street, etc. Do you see that kind of public uprising impacting the market in any way?
